We are currently about halfway through this fun project.
We are constructing a 2-car garage with a large entertainment room on the second floor. This has been a very intricate framing job, with lots of support structure that no one will see when it is completed. In these pictures you will see that we started framing in the middle of the winter. The care that we took to make sure every element of this building was square and true, every bolt was put in precisely where it belonged. You will see the detail of the decorative gable ends that were constructed and installed. Finally, you can see that our building is sealed tight with Foam Insulation.
Upcoming we have the cool stuff, drywall, the wood ceilings and wainscot, the beautiful white oak floors, the screen porch and siding.
